The Faculty of
Leadership and
Management Sciences
comprises five
departments enrich with
competent lecturers in
areas of leadership,
ethics and governance;
economics; accountancy;
business administration;
procurement and supply;
project planning and
management; human
resources management;
gender and development;
community development;
and information and
communication
technology. The department of Leadership, Ethics and Governance under the faculty of Leadership and Management Sciences of the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy is engaged in training long and short courses, conducting research programmes as well as undertaking consultancy and outreach programs.
The long course under the Department of Leadership, Ethics and Governance lead into ward of certificates, Diplomas, Bachelors and Post Graduate Degree (Masters) in Leadership, Ethics and Governance. On the other hand, the Department runs short courses in Leadership, Ethics and Governance to different government leaders ranging from Local Government Authorities to those in Central Government as well as those from the private sector and other groups. The aim of this training is to prepare ethical, patriotic, responsible and committed leaders who have ambition to successfully work in the public or private sector both in and outside Tanzania.
